Don’t worry, i’m pulling off at the first sight of #### roads or before. I’ll declare victory if i can get to the quad cities

 

Another day, another time people park like idiots with zero regard for others. Thankfully i can squeeze out fine. The people to the right of me aren’t so lucky though

 

They're calling for a blizzard warning in parts of IA starting sometime today, and it ain't looking too good. West of Lincoln is closed

 

Made it to the Kwik Star on the west side of Davenport and that’s as far as i’m getting today most likely. Looked at the radar and wind and snow is baring down on Iowa City. Still pretty calm in the Quad Cities area with just rain showers, little wind, and temps still in the mid 40’s but that’ll change.

I met another FCCer at the Pilot in Morris also going to Omaha that said he was shutting down at Walcott

It’s amazing to me how many trucks are just throwing caution to the wind and headed west without a care in the world. Did they not look at the weather report before they left?
