Looks like i’m not making my appointment time. 5 am and I-80 looks like a complete mess. I may have to wait until later in the day to get there

Google Maps can be so deceiving. If you look at the map a little too far out, it all looks fine and dandy

But zoom in just a tiny bit and

i’ve noticed that York county in particular is proud to showcase their county. They have a bunch of billboards up along 80 and 81. I can’t think of another county off the top of my head that does that

Backed in my driveway with one minute left, guess I was worried for nothing. 3892 miles for the week.

44 to Poughkeepsie, and down 9W to I-84? I like that route. I once got routed down MA-183 through Housatonic to get to Canaan from Albany, NY. Not a bad route if you don't mind the hard left under a narrow Railroad underpass, across a short bridge, and an immediate hard right....in A W900L. I'm just glad it was midnight. All that to avoid a weight restriction on a bridge in Stockbridge, MA... and I was WELL under that weight, being empty. I have crossed that bridge a few times with FCC leaving BD to make a stop at the location of THE Alice's Restaurant. I think it crosses the same tracks I had to squeeze under in Housatonic.

    IH9300SBA and Knucklehead Thank this.

Left house a little after 6 this morning and got 2/3 of the way to Omaha before my dispatcher called me and said that the receiver was apparently closed for some reason. Oh well that made my life easier. Dropped trailer in Council Bluffs, got truck serviced, and picked up a Kawasaki dealer load going to Paris, TX and Texarkana. Pulled into town a couple hours ago and am resting on the couch. I will leave out for Paris on Sunday to deliver first thing Monday morning

If you are headed to the one on the NE corner, just pull straight down the road along the West side of the lot. You will be blindside backing back onto the access road/on ramp to the loop, and that will be pointing you in the right direction to continue on to US82.

    IH9300SBA and cdavis188 Thank this.
