I've had mostly good luck with the Cascadia's I drove. Although my first FCC truck threw a check engine light on that apparently derated the engine a few hours later without saying so. Needless to say I wasn't everyone's favorite when i was chugging up a hill in Omaha traffic on I-80 doing 35-40. The turbo wasn't boosting past 20 psi and it became a real dog for the last 30 miles to Fremont. It could go 68 but it took forever to get there if you were slowed down for whatever reason. As far as I know that truck is still sitting in the yard.
My Cascadia with Magnum used to throw a CEL every now and then for a couple days and then went away with no issues.
I've never had issues with cruise not working. It's always the front radar acting up which disables ACC, but regular cruise still works fine.

Pulled out of town a little after 6 this morning. Hit some snow and slow road conditions in western Kansas but thankfully it didn't last for too long. Made it to the Flying J in Limon, CO and about to have lunch at IHOP.
Keeping an eye on the passes and besides for a couple slow spots everything seems clear. They've been steadily getting better since daybreak. My goal is to get through Glenwood Canyon and to a small truck stop in Silt.hotrod1653, runningman0661, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -

I-70 is quite the ride west of Denver. Beautiful scenery and little traffic once you get past all the ski resorts. A bit rough in a couple places but nothing like the sorry excuse for a highway down south.
Such a shame Kawasaki in Ontario isn't open on the weekends. I have an 8 am appointment tomorrow morning, and I'm extremely thrilled at the prospect of dealing with the morning rush into the basin. My only consolation is that I'm reloading at the same place going to Garland, TX.
Planning to get to the first rest area into California. I can't get to Barstow and there's not much past Vegas. -

Well, I feel like I’ve been on vacation here… LOL
I had a five hour wait for a load going 245 miles… ya, it happens and was my turn to be a team player… lol
Then the next morning after unload, half day run up to CB for a shop visit… got in a nice shower and Steak Dinner to finish out the day. Then two days to run an easy 1,020 miles to NE ATL with a load of Big Boy Toys. Sitting here taking a 34 today with FCFS unload in the morning.
So after a few very light duty days and a full 34, I’ll be ready to run for a bit… if needed… loldwells40, cdavis188 and runningman0661 Thank this. -
Speaking of vacations, how would that work here? I was made aware that vacation pay is basically just a payout rather than true PTO.
For example, I'm planning on driving up to visit family in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in June, which will require me to take 7 days off. How would I go about doing that? -
Just submit your time off request macro on the qualcomm. It gets paid out automatically on your anniversary day, but you can take the time whenever you want. They are pretty easy going with company drivers on time off, as long as you run hard and do your job, they wouldn't say a word if you needed some extra days off, of course you wouldn't get paid, but it's always nice to know if ya need a couple days once in awhile.
