Yup, that's it. You got better pics than I did lol. Glad I was heading south, northbound was backed up 5 miles when I came through, they were still cleaning up on that side I guess.

My Volvo's little amber engine light is on more than it's off. I have renamed it my little amber buddy...I miss it when it's gone. I had a Mack at another company that had it on for months without derating. When I finally had to go to the shop for another issue, the tech asked if I noticed that light being on...I said yes, but since most of our Macks have them on most of the time, I thought it meant the engine was still there and hadn't fallen out yet...he was not amused. He fixed the issue, then within a week, it was on again, and it stayed on until I left.

Been at the mulch place here in Oskaloosa, IA for three hours and they loaded me with too much. Scaled at 86,200 on their scales. Someone's supposed to be unloading a few pallets of mulch in order to get me legal. I'll have to deliver this tomorrow morning as I'll miss the cutoff date for receiving today. Thought about stopping in Council Bluffs, but I will probably just head to Fremont and then deliver in the morning.
Also Andrew informed me that I will be heading to Tim's board. I believe he mainly handles SWR drivers but has some long haul drivers as well. He said Tim would be a good fit for me.Last edited: Apr 5, 2023

Hooking back up to my trailer to deliver this load of mulch to Mulhall's in Omaha. After that I will swing by Kawasaki in Lincoln picking up a load to Ontario that I will take through home for a 34 for a Monday morning delivery. The CA run should kind of salvage an otherwise crappy week mileage wise.

So the past several days I've been dealing with a sinus infection. The worst of it has passed but it keeps hanging on like old man winter. Since I don't have to drive tomorrow, I got some severe strength Nyquil to hopefully kick this crap to the curb. It'll probably knock me out for most of the night, which is what I'm hoping for.

So I had picked up a load off the CB yard going to Four Oaks. They wanted it there today, but with my recap hours that wasn’t going to happen. The load planner wasn’t going to find anything to keep me rolling if I dropped on Saturday, so after some back and forth, it was decided I would just take it to the house and drop it Monday. Works for me.
As I passed Asheville today I blew a tire on the trailer. Called breakdown, and they had me up and rolling within 2.5 hours.gntorres61, BigR and ncmickey Thank this. -
