Gonna head over to Detroit in Omaha after I drop this load. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of this aftertreatment issue while I take a 10. It's throwing the same code about the nox sensor, same thing I had replaced at Freightliner in Missouri 3 weeks ago When I broke down. Ugh!!! At least I got it in before the derating started this time. Fingers crossed I'm outta there after my 10 tonight and don't lose any more time over it. At least it's under warranty

I park on on ramps every once in a while. But when nature calls and you're in the middle of nowhere...you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm not apologizing for that.

Likewise, if they want to call let them call. I want to know how these #### cameras know we are parked on a ramp, if you didn't hit a bump or slam on the breaks or turn sharp, why would it send an event in the first place for them to know?

There's still a ton of on/off ramps that has none of that signage. I know for a fact both Kansas and Oklahoma has no such signage on most rural ramps. And I don't park on those with said signage unless it's an emergency.

BigR and M22 rockcrusher Thank this.

When I was at Landstar way back when they had that policy...you had 10 min to put out your reflectors, and if you were reported parked without them by another Landstar BCO your lease was terminated.

    runningman0661 and cdavis188 Thank this.

And rightfully so, the 10 min is not only a policy, it's the law.

When I was at LS, I blew a tire so I pulled off the road and went across to the get-on ramp and parked. made the call for road service as I put out my triangles. Back in the truck waiting, I saw another LS truck go by the other way and slow down when they went by. They went over 10 miles to the next ramp and came back. Not to help. Not to check to see if I was ok. But to take some pictures of me there to send in to safety. I had just called safety to let them know I was on the ramp and was told someone had already called in on me and were going to get some pics if I wasn't broke down.
    Sad. Snitches, plain and simple.

That is Sad! It used to be hands looked out for one another and not be a company snitch! May Karma come calling on them!
