Mine clears out as soon as I hit the clear button. Evidence of the violation stats on the log for several days sure. And where did I say that elogs were the answer? I'm simply defeating your reasons with logic and reasoning

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

x1Heavy and Boardhauler Thank this.

To this day I have never been able to replicate that kind of precision. -
The ELD just records the one size fits all. -

I would no longer trust a bureaucrat to respect the difference between a minor violation and a serious violation. For them it is all about statistics and nothing human. LEOs are nearly all the same. Try to get a break for a minor repair or mistake on a log. To make themselves look good, they need to make us out as criminal.
-
Allot of those breaks are also given based on the drivers attitude with the officer. Time and time again is been shown that if you show respect, many times you'll get respect. Are there jack ### nose in the air leo, sure there are, but if I can get out of a speeding ticket for 68 in a 55 in ohio, there's gotta be hope somewhere
-
I agree with you 100%. I never gave any grief. Where I live it is all about generating negative numbers. They are soldiers of the liberal regime. In NY it wasn't at all difficult get a break but this was 20+ years ago.

Nice timing...it's amazing how we are asked to make a comment on a mandate that took effect last month. Kinda like fixing the barn door after the horse is at the glue factory.
driverdriver, whoopNride and Mattflat362 Thank this. -
Tells me know they have a problem or are still trying to justify stupid.
whoopNride Thanks this.
