I’ve witnessed a fuel lane shower clown get his 5th wheel released.

“Couldn’t happen to a better schmuck” is exactly what I thought. In fact, I was so excited I hung around to watch the moron drop his trailer. It was great! Lol

The photo evidence posted of you in track pants and flip flops with a reefer trailer attached to a truck identifying as a "white Volvo" has determined that to be a lie.

No mention of what time of day it was in the OP.
But I do know that at night there is no other place to park for a 30 other than the fuel island.
That is one reason I don't run at night.

And I have been behind drivers during the day that are camping in the fuel lane.
I have never pulled the fifth wheel release or broken the seal, but I have thought about it.

Another revenge tactic is the tandem release. Then watch as the back end of the trailer is suddenly not there anymore.

A seal is a small strip of plastic or metal or other contraption that goes on the door latch to prevent it from being opened without destroying the seal. It is to prove that a trailer has not been opened since it was loaded.

Now what will happenbif seal is broken? That all depends on if the receiver actually checks to see if the seal is there. Lots of places dont ever check the seal... But those that do, raise hell if its not there. I had a load of pallets refused because it wasnt sealed... Yeah, of all things it was pallets... Not even new ones at that.

The driver that loaded it never sealed the load... The seal was inside the trailer with the paperwork, but when I grabbed the paperwork I couldnt find a seal. I assumed it didnt have one... The seal had actually fallen into a crack in the floor and was not easily seen unless one looked very closely. So I took that load about 15 miles back to the yard, we found the seal and delivered the load 2 days later.

I do alot of cargill combo loads i know if the seal is removed whole load is rejected. But its the wire seals you need bolt cutters.

I have no sympathy for duches that park at the island. He’s lucky the guy didn’t climb on his hood and piss on his windshield after pulling the seal.

I'm all for idiots getting their due, but pulling the 5th wheel is just too far. You'll be screwing the #######, but also everybody around them, or possibly even killing somebody if it falls off further down the road.

That’s why standing on the hood is a well considered response.
