If only loves could build bigger truckstops then drivers could park for their 30 min break. Or I liked trucking without the 30 min break myself. I would fit that in myself. Didn't need a gobberment mandate for that. You know, like the masks mandates that don't stop covid. Like that, Same kind of thing. That 30 min break can be removed. Its BS.

I've been to that Love's. He wasn't taking his 30, he was standing in line at the fuel counter still waiting to pay for his fuel.

Never even TOUCH another drivers trailer, or Truck. You don't want them to bother you, you don't bother them. This is another reason trucking is losing drivers. Not just this, though this is a terrible act. Who hasn't had to wait at the fuel island for another driver? Never, Ever, Touch the Truck or Trailer of another driver. I was raised to respect other people and their property. This is just another immature person that has no esteem or morals. I am sure their parents are sub standard just like him.

There are two components to this story! Careless disregard and a spiteful reaction to it. I once was asked to go get a loaded trailer who some idiot took the seal off it sitting at our Atlanta terminal. The driver assigned the load flat out refused to mess with it because it was going to the Winder Ga Walmart DC. Walmarts are known to flat-out reject a load with a missing seal. I was told by my fleet manager that I would not be paid per mile but placed on hours for that day. I went on ahead to the DC and yes they rejected the load. I drove over to a place next to it and parked and let my company deal with the problem. I was sitting in my tractor about half asleep when a guy in a Walmart yard dog drove through found me and said come on with me. Normally to get unloaded at a Walmart takes around 2 hours. In this case, Walmart took a while longer AND they charged my company $200 PLUS the $50 for unloading because of that busted seal. My company never was able to find the person that cut off that seal.

Many times I've paid for reserve parking only for myself to get there and it be full with unpaid drivers.
Multiple times got the manager involved and they refused to do anything except offer me refund.

Con agra frozen foods is one of my company's biggest customers and a broken or missing seal is a big no no at any receiver, all of our trailers have locking seal doors on them.

I’m sure I’m going to get the “That was very immature Frank”, but I’ll risk it.
I yelled “You just go up an alley holler fish!” at a feller once. I know, pretty rotten thing to do to a man, but he had it comin’.Bean Jr., Brettj3876, tarmadilo and 3 others Thank this.
