Any info about whether they hire in PA? And if so, what's your average miles for those working for Poly. Thanks!

When I looked in one of those trucking mini magazines a while back, it showed that Poly hires from everywhere except: CA, MT, NE, extreem west TX and south of I-4 in FL. Hirings are subject to the driver meeting Poly's requirements for safety and experience and the company needing drivers in a certain area(that last part is my opinion, I've never heard anyone actually say that but that is how it seems). Miles vary depending on location, and time of year. Also the desire of the driver to run hard or not plus the drivers ability to adapt to Poly's system. As you can see from many of this threads posts, sometimes it's luck of the draw...right place, right time. Other times freight is so abundant you can't remember all the places they list. Actual hiring location questions would have to be answered by recruiting. They're the only one's who know the answer. We drivers can only guess.

Some of our drivers are happy getting 2000-2500/wk. Some, like me, want more. Poly wants their drivers to run no less than 8000/month.

JD, looks like we lucked out and got nice weather thru the weekend up here in WA. It was foggy and ice fog from Boise until 30 or so miles after the OR scale this a.m.

Evidently they do. There was a driver from my town who drove for them, but he must have left the company recently because there is a local company's truck parked where he used to park the Poly truck.

Not good news as of my delivery in Blaine. Still no call from Backhaul...plus my F.I.L. who is in Hospice (and was improving almost to the point he could handle chemo)suddenly took a turn for the worse yesterday afternoon...and where am I...as far away as possible...why didn't I take that other load and be sitting in GP now?!?!!

Where is Roadrunner? Backhaul hasn't called yet but when I called Outbound to put in my 'urgent need to get home' on my next outbound...they said it's looking like they're leaning towards Roadrunner...when I tried to call backhaul I get the usual voicemail

Sumner Washington SS? 3520 142nd Ave E. Right near Hwy 167 and 24th ave. My company loads out of there from time to time. We drop an MT trailer before 2000, take our break and it's ready when we are. Hope you get home ASAP, Roadrunner will get close if not all the way home.

That's the place. This load won't get me home, but it'll get me back to TX where I can get a load home.
