Order the part? A freaking DEF valve? This the kind of crap that gives me the red ###. It's not like you need some specialized part.

I have a commercial meat locker in my truck. I try to keep a side of beef on the truck at all times. :)

    ArmyGuy Thanks this.

Nope, had enough of their variable paying psycho circus...working at Big G now.

a dorm size fridge from Wally. I thought about getting a slightly bigger one with a seperate freezer, but this one was tough enough to put on the top bunk by myself

Trucks ready to role. Unfortunately load will be rescheduled for Monday and it's only 475 miles away. That's trucking for ya.

Being forced to take a ride with another driver after a break down was a clever move on Polys part I'm finding out .
Saves them $'s yet puts some of us at
    great risk .

In my case the guy that picked me up realized within a few hours the mistake he made volunteering to give the lift.

Basically your forced to run as a team .... and in this case neither one of us can sleep in a moving truck (and sharing a bunk is nasty if you get right down to it )

It's easier to doze off at the wheel than try to
sleep in a bunk laying down because your entire body is jarred continuously trying to
sleep in the bunk.... it's just your butt sitting
    in a seat .

Smooth Poly .... real smooth

    Don't do it. I don't.
Pay for your own bus ticket home or back to
GP and go back when your truck is fixed or get
Another load to swing by and get the rest of your stuff.

Don't play this stupid game. Two grown men sharing a bed like a couple of six year olds.
Solve the problem yourself. If you can't afford a bus ticket
Working here you got bigger problems.

    I don't ask for rides and I don't give them. I'd rather
Spend a 100 bucks on a one way ticket then have a complete stranger in my truck and sleeping in my bed for 2 days.

I wouldn't let a complete stranger come into my home
And sleep in my bed. It's no different in the truck.

With this attitude I hope you don't break down on the side of the road when it's 20 below outside and expect someone to stop and keep you warm since after all they would be letting a complete stranger in their house.
It's about doing the right thing even if it makes you a little uncomfortable. Karma has a way of coming back.

I don't want or need your help. Been out here 20 years
Doing just fine. I can take care of myself.
I'm not on the phone crying to pat and Martin begging
Poly for help. Solve the problem yourself then deal with
    Them later.

Just because we work at the same place means nothing.
I don't know you anymore then the guy who loaded
    My truck yesterday.
    You could stink,be a racist,worship the devil,snore,
    Be a pervert,never shut up,don't take showers,anything.

I don't need your help driving I can do that myself.
So there's absolutely nothing to gain but a company
That's worth Half billion dollars saves a 100 bucks on a bus ticket.

Keep 500 dollars in cash with you at all times and none
Of these things are a problem.
    See how easy that was.
