As a former Poly driver, I can answer part of that...the pay rate is the same for everyone...day 1 driver makes the same as the driver that has been there for years.

I grossed a smidge over 93k but that is probably near the top end of the pay scale and I ran decently hard and am a master of the system. For a new hire if you are smart and take advantage of all that is offered you should have no problem grossing between 70-75k. As you learn the system and know what loads are the most productive your pay and happiness will increase. All pay combined if you take the matching 401k will amount to around 0.62/hub mile. Also no ######## hoops to jump through to receive your pay regarding fuel mileage, idle percentage or other crock of ####.

You’re doing a lot better than me and probably most Poly drivers.

    93k ?

    #### !

I figure i will lose 1 week per month due to break downs. The loanr i just had to take had no a/c ... and they sent me to florida.

Don’t come over here expecting to make anywhere near 93k

I agree. I made 68k this past year and yes I believe I could do better but maybe by a few thousand not 10-20.
Really depends on the person though and how often they go home and where they run.

One reason why Poly is still worth a look. If I were to ever return to OTR, this would be a personal requirement.

I just learned today that Poly isn’t buying anymore Peterbilts this year.

Poly is taking their sweet time replacing their internationals.

I wrongly assumed that when my truck hit 750k i’d get a Pete. Aint happening. May be a few years to get a Pete.

Well, that’s an easy fix. You just need to rush over to one the 100s of FLease Purchase companies and sign the dotted line son!

You’ll be rolling fly then, and bringing in bales of spending cabbage!
