How would you route yourself? Any Philly residents? I will likely be hitting the greater Philly area around 0600 or so. Hopefully earlier, but it definitely will not be much earlier.
I am currently in Nebraska, so I have all sorts of options available.
I could take 80 to 99 then down through 322 and a bunch of secondary roads.
I could take 80 all the way to 476 and shoot down the toll. Did they finish all the 476 construction mess yet?
I could take 80 to 76 and throw my wallet at PA toll booths.
I could take 80 to 74, 70, 68, etc and run around the north loop around Baltimore then 95.
The tolls are secondary considerations here. I very much dislike being late for loads, and I will not have enough time to find parking nearby. I rarely get close to Philly, and do not know the best early rush hour routes.
Why am i pressed for time? Because I chose to drive the last 9 hours on my 70 today, rather than take my 34 in Wamsutter. I got caught on the wrong side of a fatality accident near Buford, WY. Lost 2 hours sitting and waiting for the road to open. Then decided to roll around the mess to the north via US287/WY34/I25 to get back to 80. Lost quite a few miles there too, but I absolutely needed to get myself closer to final, or I would not be able to reliably be able to say I could make it to the receiver on the same day as the appointment, never mind being on time.
80 to 76 is almost certainly the best/fastest route since everyone hates tolls, but if any of the others are decent early morning routes, I might save myself some toll money.
Going around Philly to a delivery in Vineland, NJ at 0800

I'd run 80, 99,322 to Harrisburg, take 81n to 83s to 283 to Lancaster, hop on 30, run over to 202n. Then 476 down to 95 to 322, and cross the Commodore Barry Bridge.
The only toll should be the bridge, which I think is $37.50.
It's pretty much all 4 lane, except a few miles on 30. But the traffic on 202 and 476 gets nuts in the morning. If you can be through there by 6, it's usually not too bad though.
I used to run the pike from Harrisburg to Philly quite often. Then the tolls got out of hand.Dino soar, Upinsmoke, Farmerbob1 and 1 other person Thank this. -

Pay the tolls and ride. The tolls are worth it.

If U are hitting Philly at 6am U should be ok, cross the Walt Whitman Bridge staying on I76 to NJ Rt42 South, proceed another 2 or 3 miles to Rt 55 and take it right to Vineland
Hope that helps -
I'm an owner op... so it may vary for you .
80 out of Youngstown to 99 south to 322 east to 81 north to 83 south and the pike to valley forge ...bout 60 bucks .
76 across the walt Whitman to 295 south to 55 south ...done deal .Upinsmoke, Farmerbob1 and 4mer trucker Thank this. -

I would run it like this
Find your way across 80 the back way if you want into pa on 80.
Take exit 123 pa970 south to 322e. i99n back to 322e. Follow all the way to duncannon, i83s, i283e, pa283e, us30e, pa41s, take i295 over the river, follow us40 all the way to 55s to Vineland.
Good running. No tolls. Avoid most major cities. Parking is sort of short along this route. Carneys point always has space if you need to sleep there. And in Vineland there is a fuel stop with parking around back but no facilities not even a toilet. Major truck stop on route 32 west of 55 is what it's called.Upinsmoke, Rideandrepair and Farmerbob1 Thank this.
