My bank doesn’t even have physical locations. Is this 2024?

Off to a bad start. When I got to the room provided there was a party going on inside. I booked myself a room at a different hotel, after midnight, and accidentally made a non refundable reservation for tomorrow. So actually I’m out of pocket about $220. Oh and orientation is unpaid.

I think they would blend in with the rest of the community of youtubers especially truckers last few ones iv seen they leave in a few months maybe 6 months and changes jobs after that in another 3 months and burn out.

party in your room or outside? why would you pay for your own hotel no that's horrible idea starting in the red will only get worse not better 99% time, why your work free I am unsure why that be legal. I have heard a lot bad stories on them

Party in the room. I went to the hotel manager and told her there was more than one person in the room. I asked if I could have a different room. She locked me out of the office, went in and made a phone call. She came back and said there’s only one person in there. You can’t have another room. But you’re welcome to call western express. And yes western does not pay anyone for orientation.

The best companies don't ask drivers to share hotel rooms. Many companies do put 2 people per room.

yes, if you haven't signed any contract you best not sign anything unless your willing to follow said contract, btw Emails signed are considered contracts. make sure you read any contracts carefully if they rush you walk away. if I am not mistaken the company is known as Welfare Express I could be wrong but all the people I talk to said bad things never a single good thing.

    Good question!

yes your experience is counted in years.

I like to see 4 to 6 years of accident free (not incident) time. Don’t need to see logs or anything like that but will confirm you were in the seat for that time.

This is also the threshold for an owner operator move.

Glad you pointed that out seen too many after 1-2 years with no owning a company before. And have no idea what they getting into but expect good things. But even then O/O from a business side is so much harder than say a tree trimmer company even if they owned a class b truck. The regulations you gotta keep up is insane compared to owning other types of business.
