Except they don't work because of all the impatient douchebags out there. Truckers and 4 wheelers both. 3 cars speed up to try to get in front of the big, bad, slow truck or the "Super Trucker" who tailgates the guy in front of him so no one can get in front....it's all a bunch of crap.

Yeah, some people jack it up, dont bother me none... i keep on doing it right, a few here and there get all high and mighty.. so what? Most times people figure it out and go about it correctly. As for the jack offs? Im glad they got by.

    You cant outrun stupid.
But you can let it pass you by...

Zipper merge works with other semi trucks. I had been on both side, but i usually tried to get in the open lane before all the mess pile up. If i was caught off guard and in the wrong lane, ill find another driver who's willing to help me and we both will do the zipper merge without braking.

    I say zipper merge...
Why should everyone in the right lane let those who know they are in the wrong lane keep screwing those who are in the right lane to begin with ?
.... I'll grab that wrong lane and stay even with my partners in the right lane and force a zipper merge upon those who in the wrong lane that for some reason feel as tho they have a right to screw those who are in the correct lane
Now if those behind me in the wrong lane are so arrogant as to pass me on the shoulder of the wrong lane , I don't have time to argue with them and I'll let them pass me but then I'll see those farther up that are in the right lane refusing to let them in because of what they done by passing me
.... This move keeps traffic flowing for ALL involved

I always put in a low gear and just creep whoever wants to jump in front go for it. Think of it like if your whole days is ruined by a few cars jumping in line you most likely have bigger issues.

Rolling road block a.k.a. Forced Zipper for the win. All trucks fill all lanes...bay-um, yer done. True the fours can still try to get around on the shoulder but that's when someone in the back gets on his backup radio (see what I did there Six) and calls for a regen up front.

    TripleSix Thanks this.
