When I said I had to go to the dentist and needed my pay check he said I was lying then picked the truck up.. I conferences called him a fee weeks ago with a friend who drives for Holland. Brad didn't know about him on the phone and admitted I didn't quit and that the truck was very clean.. My friend got madand confronted Brad about it, so he says..

If you don't return the truck from where you picked it up at, or return it to where they want it returned, that ABANDONMENT. Plain and simple.

I always recommend to not pay attention to cpm, bonuses, detention, etc...
I recommend pinning the company down to a gross pay per week avg. for their fleet. I'm not interested in how that's obtained.
At the end of the day, the bottom line is the only thing I'm interested in when it comes to my pay.
If they pass that test, then I'll move on to home time, insurance, trucks and all the other stuff that varies in importance to drivers. -
You don't know what there average driver does in terms of performance (work ethic) and typical home time usage to know where you fit in. There's too many driver types out here that skew numbers in all sorts of directions.
To me it's all about CPM and the amount of and quality of freight they can claim to offer. I don't care about a few cents so much, but I can do math and make assumptions based on MY reality. Also have to consider other possible perksFrank Speak Thanks this. -
Yeah, we all have to do what works for us. For me, the average gross pay works. I know what kind of driver I am and I know that I will generally do a little better than average.
I'm not one of the "live in your truck" types so I'm never going to be at the high end, but I'm not a "live in the truckstop" type either so I generally fall in the a little better than average category.
Like you said, we all have to do what works for us.U.S. Otriad Thanks this. -
