But that 24cpm is on all miles driven, then divided by 2.

If they run a combined 6000 miles per week, that is $1,440.
Split between them it is $720 each.

Even at half that, 3,000 miles per week, it would be $360 each.
And that is averaging 1,500 per week for each driver, which is under 215 miles per day per driver.

The OP said they run an average of 500 miles per day.
Maybe if they were actually driving what the OP stated for 3 days per week... with 4 days off per week?

Sorry, but none of the OP's numbers make any sense to me.

Making even less sense to me is why anyone would do this job for 12cpm, if that really is the case.

Yea my logic is all there. He ran his business. Did he take time off sure. So what. I get the impression you are jealous of “ceo’s“. Not all business owners “play golf”. Yea it’s a small 70 truck company. I also know several business owners and like I said they do take time off but they also make sure their business is running good.

I re-read Op's posts and am still a little confused. I wish he would come back and clarify.

Still, based on his calculations, I think that he is trying to say that they CAN run 1000 miles a day, combined, they just aren't getting the chance to on a weekly basis. (I did see where he quoted 5-600 and 4-500 miles but I didn't see him indicate that as an average.)

I've seen carriers like that before. You get a 2000 mile trip that a team can do in 2 days, easy. Then, you wait three days for your next load. Heck, I've had it happen to me recently.

BEWARE!! New York Hemp Harvest underway. Check your load!

That's really the only way I can make sense of it.

Also, I can say with certainty that CRST is not paying team drivers, just out of school and on a contract, 24cpm each. I'm sure that number is truck miles.

Nope not really aside from the money they get compared to me never been one for titles. No not all just a lot play golf or some other hobby but you have the impression CEO and owners are always the same. While it is possible be owner and CEO a lot of time they are not the same. one CEO I know play golf and do some meetings same time as for the rest ones I know they do play golf, hunt, fish really it's not just tied to golf but point being thinking it takes a lot time your day write a few post here and there. takes me what less then a two mins. For most my stuff on webs be type and maybe what 4 mins for some scanning of another post. really you can find time do anything if you desire it. Rather a navy seal or a CEO of a huge company or perhaps a welder who just spent 80 hours a week on a project.

Hey guys heres some more info.
    Crst starts drivers at 30cpm
19 cpm with 11 cpm perdiem
My cpm has increased to 24 cpm with 10cpm perdiem. For a total of 34 cpm.

CRST does not offer fuel bonus.
We never qualify for any other types of pay besides mileage.

    Heres my most recent checks.

Wow, I am assuming the prudem is seperate from those statements, While I am glad you fulfilled your contract, I would ask ONCE for more miles AND a raise, if not given I would go get my own, and never look back. Screw that I was always better at getting my own raise than asking for one, I would be lining something up now, for the day my contract was up and consider them lucky if I gave 2 minutes notice.

I have an idea they are expecting it any way, the pizza delivery folks here makes considerly more plus tips.

    0.34cpm x 3000mi = $1020 ÷ 2=
    $510 each

$510 i have a pay stub that paid $514.76 as you can see in stub i posted above. I will plug those tax deduction numbers here.Gonna round to nearest dollar.

    $510 - $40 housing fee = $470
    -$21 fed/wh
    -$23 fica
    -$5 med
    -$8 state

= $413 take home. In my $514.76 pay stub above i took home $417.44.

    This is a good week.

I do not do 3000 miles every week. Sometimes we get a load thats 900 miles. Then sit . Then 1000. And sit. Then 600. Then sit.

for every 3000mi i drive ill bring home $413 This number was lower when i started at 0.30cpm

I said 95% of them being in the $250-300 range.
I guess my average is a tad bit higher in the $350-400?

    CRST gets the worst reviews/reputation.
CRST is definitely one of the dirtiest players in the game. They are neck and neck with swift. Teter tottering the edge of legality.

Im pretty much not satsified with my $350-400 a week. I made that as a school bus driver only working 25 hrs a week.

I just wan't to do things right, fix my mistakes and better my career & salary.

I appreciate everyones replies! And the help. This is what i came here for.

Yea this place is a revolving door. Even the higher ups quit..

Yes they know you are going to leave or quit..
They are betting on it. $8000 nonprorated
Noncompete contracts. They know people dont have $8000 thats why we came to company sponsored training. After you sign contract they grab you by the balls and laugh in your face. Do what they say or you're fired under there disgreccion. And cant work anywhere else.
People that have responsibilities and families to take care of quit very very fast.

Our checks are so low say we get $350 in a week. Our next live unload has a lumper fee of $150 then money for tolls. Possibly a cat scale/window wash. Now that little $350. is $200 waiting on your reimbursements to come.
People with families cant survive here.

    Accurate review of CRST.
