    Well, lorry.
    As in Laurie, or Loh - ree.

    Boss would tell me "Blair, bring yer lorry in here and put the shed up" (Tilt forward cab).

    Or - Semi articulated vehicle, with articulation having something to do with pivot points. Also applies to most drivers who are semi articulate.

    But, more importantly, why don't we call Arkansas AHH - KANSAS instead of AHH - KIN - SAW. ???

    They DO pronounce it AR-KANSAS in Kansas.
    That there river is the Arkansas in every state it goes through. EXCEPT IN KANSAS.:)
