Starting a new union named "Naked Drivers Against Cameras"...$10/mo union dues. As a protest, strip down to your birthday suit (but leave you shoes on (or flip flops if you wear those))...then hard brake 5 times with 5 different facial expressions that simulate satisfaction. See how long it takes to get management to remove the camera. If they fire you, we'll have a class action lawsuit for wrongful termination and invasion of privacy.
SHOJim, GWS and scottied67 Thank this. -
Sorry to say this is the way business is. Go to most any other job, office, production, warehouse or other and there are cameras pointed at you. Notice when you pull into most shippers there are cams watching you. Don't try pissing on that old Schneider trailer in the MT lot either.
This is like electronic on board recorders a few yrs ago,,,everyone vowed to hang up the keys,,,,most are still around. -
I have a solution...dont drive for companies that put cams in your trucks...lol..cheers...happy trails.

Swift has 20,000 drivers, you think they're going to be monitoring your dash cam ?

They will remove you from the drivers seat - and for good reason.
If you 'hard brake' several times for no other reason than to get the cam sending footage of you doing so in your 'birthday suit', a case might be made for your stupidity - if nothing else.
Reckless endangerment (of persons or property) might be another.
Grow up and get a clue. -

They need to start putting cameras in airline ####pits.
