If they would replace Coast to Coast AM with Red Eye Radio, I would start listening to them.

But until they do, Road Dog Trucking won't be on my presets.

 

That's a false equivalent. Stern was hired for his format and his format hasn't changed. From the article, Rutherford has shifted focus from trucking to politics and shilling his health and wellness products. My guess is that his ratings have dropped and there were several conversations/warnings before he got the ax.

Also, Stern has been "canceled" many, many, many times in his career.

I’ve always kind of thought of Stern as a Don Imus wannabe with a ######.

 

With an exception of a couple years in middle school, I never found any of them amusing.

 

Politics and religion are best kept to yourself in my opinion. It be a lot less ######## out there if people would do this.

 

It definitely works quickly to divide folks who otherwise would get along.

As far as Xm goes. I like it less and less. Pandora is free and so is I-Heart radio. One has music and the other has podcasts and music. If I was in an area of the country I had constant cell signal, I would have tossed xm to the curb long ago.
