Sometimes there are deliveries inside of 285 and you can rude 75 to a point. If you're going thru, 285 is mandatory. I did make the mistake of driving through Atlanta without using 285 my rookie year, it was at night. It was so lit up like I was rising the strip in Vegas or something lol
JolliRoger and Bean Jr. Thank this. -

I can't stand the traffic & driving from the four wheelers on the i75. I just told my dispatcher today I'm no longer interested on doing that lane we have. I can make more staying North East with deliveries & pickups near Cleveland. Even though some of the craziest drivers are in Indianapolis I'd still rather there then anywhere near ATL.
Blagoje, 86scotty, JolliRoger and 1 other person Thank this. -
1st, I don't think trucks are allowed on 75 in town, and 2nd, why would you? It's the rectum of the south and I hated every trip that sent me through that rotten area.

I've driven through at night along with a few other trucks, saw a cruiser, but nothing came of it.
Had an older co-worker drive through Atlanta and was ticketed. Long story short, he fought the ticket and won because the IFTA tax allows driving on the interstate. Any interstate.
The rule is Atlanta merely being discriminatory against trucks.Blagoje, shatteredsquare, MACK E-6 and 2 others Thank this.
