I don't know whether I should take what I've leaned and apply to a company program to obtain my CDL or if I should request a move to the main campus and pay another 2 and hit the books.

Anyone want to lend some advice on hitting a company training program?

Im a bit apprehensive about outing my instructor, because I'm human. I'm idealizing hitting a company sponsored program away from home... But, I know that this will force me into lower pay and a tuition to pay off. However, I'm making nothing right now. Any pay is better than no pay.... And I feel as though getting OUT of this tar pit town would be a good decision.... but I would love advice.

I can study pre trip and go after endorsements while I apply to the companies I'm interested in? I want to Immerse myself... And, company training is... Full immersion

    THEN Roehl lol?

Does Millis train permit holders for CDL I don't see anything about it on their website. Their payscale seems nice, but they've never been on my radar before? I've never ran into them in my research?

I was more so asking advice on whether I should give up on this school and ACCEPT a company CDL obtainment program. But I'll look into Millis more.
Thanks, man. I appreciate your input.

Anyone have advice on making a run for it and obtaining through a company? Or should I just stick it out at the school but switch to the main campus? Honestly, I'll be left with no savings account after I lock in with the school. Idk! Scary adult decisions!!!

Millis needs $100 up front then pay as you drive. They get you home on the weekends so more regional. Your permit will be fine.

It's $500. One hundred the day you sign up for and pick your class start date and $400 more the first day of class.

Weeezerd and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this.

Learning to drive Semi's is kind of like learning to sing some are just complete natural's others may take a bit more coaching and others should just stick to singing in the shower, just stick with it, try getting a different trainer talk to them about it however it you've tried multiple instructors and still can't master the trade it might be time to just accept that truck driving is not your forte.

I'm looking into them, and from what I'm reading, they seem like a nice company for what I'm looking for specifically

It's like everything else, nothing will perfect, and I'm sure there are naysayers but I've never run into anyone lately that wasn't at least mostly happy there. Or so they said anyway, who knows for sure.

A couple months ago I was up in Black River Falls on a different matter so I took a small detour and walked into their main facility there cold and asked if I could speak to a recruiter. Lady came out and spent over an hour answering all my questions, never said boo about anything. All the people there were very nice, everyone walking past said hello or something like that.

Seems like a person could do worse.

    Weeezerd Thanks this.
