Well I can't say anything that hasn't been said. I do know one thing....a desperate man is dangerous. The question is whether it's to himself or others.

It’s sad how we’re an ‘instant gratification’ culture and nobody wants to save up for their goal of owning something. They want it now! Even at the usual cost of huge penalties and failure down the road.. Leasing is literally paying the company to work for them.

Did you get the truck thoroughly checked out before leaving on your 1st trip? Drivers in our very own JCT forum have differing thoughts about that first 2 week time frame. Some want to run all the miles they can possibly get because there is no truck payment during that initial time and some want to use that as down time to make sure the truck is ready, so they don't have to go to the shop after the payments start coming out.
Best of luck in your new venture. For your sake, I hope it isn't another bad lease program.scottied67, bryan21384, All4Safety and 2 others Thank this. -

Trucking companies see these guys coming. The LP is the biggest hustle since three card Monty and it’s all perfectly legal. The contracts are structured to benefit the company never the driver. Next week there will be a fresh batch of down and out, broke and homeless people who just happen to have CDL’s, ready to sign on the dotted line.
It’s an unscrupulous business practice but it’s nobody’s fault but the driver. READ THE CONTRACT! If you still decide to lease after reading that contract then you deserve what you get. You gotta be weapons grade stupid to lease a truck -

You know, I thought it would be a good thing to step over less piles of poop & pee while walking downtown. Well, that was until I had to do more of it doing a pre-trip at the T/S. -

A victim? How is someone that doesn't want to do any of the hard work, like save money, pay their bills so they have good credit, take some kind of business training, and a list of other things that successful people all do a victim? Their not victims.
All4Safety and tallinthesaddle4life Thank this.
