Killer admits to using cell phone

I wonder how many of us look at our phones while we’re driving?

 

Yeah, but you don't know MY phone.

At least he admitted what he did. Either way he'll spend most of his life behind bars, but I'm glad to see he was honest and didn't try to hide what he did. Hopefully this story provokes others to put the phone down when behind the wheel.

 

Depends. Did he have an attorney present during the time of the questioning and the confession? Was he read his right before confessing? Did he sign a waiver saying he would not need council? If the cops were not super careful this confession could be inadmissible in court.

 

I don't. Mine stays back in the sleeper on charge.

 

Coming down 35 in Ohio last week, tried my best to get a response on the CB from a driver in front of me. No response so I eased up beside him to get his attention, his cab was illuminated by the phone in his right hand!! Edge of dark and not 1 single light working on his trailer!

 

Some people should be flogged.
