Ours is 2 minutes. I wait a full minute after on duty fueling to go off duty break or it will conflict with the last minute.

I still encourage everyone to go to Schneider though, cause that's where the really big money is.

Ah lol not anymore. They have cracked down and chained things up. Many on SC have left. Two reasons One no phones allowed anymore Two all high paying loads going to company drivers what's leftover goes on board for OO. Don't believe me read there threads some. Schneider is no longer good.

There are tens of thousands of posts encouraging people to join Schneider bragging about the money, and the same number demonizing Landstar.

    Schnieder is good.
    Landstar is bad.

No phones allowed? What does that mean? You can't have your cell phone in the truck with you?

You're not allowed to use your phone while driving, not even with a hands free device. It's been that way for awhile there.

    drvrtech77 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

So I'm hauling their load 800 miles in the next 36 hours and had to fake a 10 hour break during the day one day because their dispatch sucks and I didn't really sleep before getting on the road and it's two in the morning and I'm about to for clear a new exit ramp on the side of the highway… And I'm not allowed to say "hey Siri" and reach out to my school buddies to try to stay awake?

They must have too many drivers.

Truckers managed to haul freight around this great country for 50 years before the almighty *can't live without it* cell phone was mass produced.
