I bet Tony "Hollywood" wishes he stayed in TX. He was suppose to be living in the Melbourne area somewhere, that's where it's suppose to make it's brushing landfall

 

@txtodd how did your picks go today?

 

They were good. All of them were small operations, a couple were kinda tight backs, but nothing bad, and they were all very friendly & accommodating. And, they were very fast! In fact, on the first one, I bumped the dock at 0942; at 0955 they were through! Had all 3 in the Cleveland area loaded by 1300 and was on my way to Indiana. Pick it up at 0700 tomorrow and head to Fargo. Someone in logistics called me today & said if I have any room left after my pick in the morning, they may send me for a 5th pick in WI before going to Fargo.

And, par for the course for Nick, he called me early today saying I can drop this in the yard & he's got a Jamestown to Ft Worth load I can get on. I love pre-planned trips!

 

When are you getting to Fargo? Heading there at 2 am tonight.

 

I won't be there til Saturday.

 

Bummer picking up Sat in Jamestown...

Time to kick back and relax.

 

Dodged some bad thunderstorms by skipping Missouri and ducking south... Made it to Roland Ok. Headed toward Altanta for Monday. Gonna grab a reset here. Of course the reefer #### the bed and I had to get the alternator replaced. Last time a reefer broken down on me I was in this exact spot.... 1 1/2 hrs later it was replaced and running strong...
And I won $300 in the Cherokee casinos...
Time will tell if it's a repeat of past events or time to pay back that loan.....
Parked at the Roland Pilot till Saturday morning...
