I just got to Fargo from Chicago. I wasn't sure I could quite make it in a single drive day, but it went smoothly. I had to stop once to change a low beam headlight bulb. Good thing the truck warned me! Took about 5 minutes to swap the bulb , take a leak and be on my way.

Maybe I'll see you in park rapids in the morning, @supersnackbar. My 10 will be up at 0930 then I'm headed that way. Or Maybe you'll be gone by then. I think it's like a 1.5 hr drive from Fargo.

I guess situations like this is why we'd get fired immediately if we caused a crash from not setting our brakes.

    Yes, this is a car...thankfully

My last company had a guy fail to set the brakes at a guard shack. The truck rolled backward through an interesection and struck and killed a woman.

The 1st OTR company I worked for had to buy a pizza shop. The driver got out to make a phone call (before cell phones) and pulled down on the trailer brake handle thinking it was a parking brake (even though it says Not For Parking). And helplessly watched his truck roll down and destroy the pizza place. The ironic thing was...he stopped to call the receiver for directions because he was lost, and was on the phone with them when it happened. After that, every truck in the fleet had the trailer brake lever removed.

Vacuum recommendations for the truck? And what the heck do y'all use that sticks to the walls for hooks? I'm trying to get creatively decorative yet storage worthy :^D

I use a small Stanley shop vac - works great and keep it under the bunk. 3M Velcro hangers work but first clean the surface with an alcohol wipe.
