Going North over the Grapevine tonight. Betting I see snow.

 

I was kinda hoping to see rain down here in Tejas. I've got 2 visits of Fargo terminal mud on my truck and trailer and I can't remember if I used my precious exterior wash this month or not.

Traffic was fun down I35 today, but not in the usual Austin slowdown zone. Way north of there north of Waco all the way thru Temple was pretty much screwed up, but Austin must have been moving (I went around, but a '17 Magnum didn't and he or she beat me thru there).

 

Wonder what the heck is going on in my houses area...the whole southbound side of I75 is orange or red thru that area.

 

Consignee in Fowlerville, MI has me in a door and unloading 5 hrs early, for future reference.

Edit: only took about 20 minutes to unload and get paperwork. Small truck stop (Marathon) with "truck parking for restaraunt customers only" and Walmart about a mile away. Rest area about 6 miles away. Great load!

Edit2: the restaurant at the truck stop here has a delicious pot roast! I got it with mashed potatoes and gravy and applesauce. They even brought me my own warm loaf of bread! The pot roast was very tender. So good!

 

Don't bother with the T/S at the 122 on 96. It has holes that will swallow your truck.

This seems to happen to me every time I'm sent a load offer. On my current load, it was all in their fine. On the way to my shipper, I was sent a new load offer with added necessary details in there. It was the same load, just new information. Now my workflow is greyed out. It also happens every time the next dispatcher sends me a preplan. I just sent Chad a message asking about it. It's a bit late though so I'll have to wait until morning for his response.
