I'd also send Chad a message on PPLNet and that way you're covered and there is no convenient amnesia!

With age comes wisdom...and as I got older I often found out I was wrong more often than my ego would admit.

How is the medical over there right now? Is it still expensive and mediocre or have they added some better plans for this year?

I like the medical coverage works good for my family but as in most places insurance ain't cheap.

A 2 hour wait to get into the shop turned into 5 hours then only to be told they don't carry that style brake chamber. Must wait till the part gets delivered in the morning.

Well, the first two weeks are almost done. If I can push it tomorrow and the next day this first week (plus a day) will end up being 3200 miles. Not bad for the first runs coming back to OTR. Did I mention I hated doing Pneumatic trucking. Yuck!

Loving the new truck, although it's got a few glitches that Peterbilt has to fix. Getting 7.8 mpg overall so far. Hopefully that'll improve as the truck get broken in. Only 3600 miles on it now.

I got 1870 miles to do by Monday should be ok as long as 1000 arrival time is a better estimate than their 2 hour wait is really 5. They Said it would only take a 1/2 -3/4 hours to fix once part arrived.

What type of mileage do you need to achieve to get the bonus? How fast are the trucks governed?

It's not a bonus per say. It's one part of what they call performance pay. Which includes mileage your CSA score logs safety and OTD%. Each category is given a point value and they total up your points. The fuel mileage part is on a sliding scale and is based on fleet averages. Your fuel mileage is only compared with
same model year and transmission types ( as we both autos and manual 10 speeds)
