In case anyone missed it, Verizon is offering unlimited data plans now. I'm having technical difficulties trying to switch over. But this is the best news since I bought my iPad a few months ago. I was paying for 60GB of data after several upgrades and it's expensive as hell. I'm not sure if I'm late to pick up on this... maybe I'm the last one to know. But this will be awesome!

Not speaking to those of you who have had Verizon since I was Zata Jr. and have grandfathered plans lol.

 

I feel fortunate to have finally found a company that I can live with here in Kommiefornia. They have bent over backwards to keep me happy.

I finally got a 68mph truck and I spend 90% of my time in a 55mph state. But oh those runs to Nevada and Utah and Arizona!!!

 

I will actually miss you. Won't have very many people to aggravate!

Haha, I payed a lot of money for a grandfathered plan on eBay a few years ago. This is still good news since I can upgrade phones now at a discount.

 

They've actually changed things. Was in a VZW store 2 weeks ago getting a new sim card. Sales guy said that they don't have subsidized phones anymore. They will now finance a phone and add the payment to your bill for 2 years. And since you're technically paying cash, you keep your unlimited. The guy said he has bought 2 phones that way and kept his grandfathered plan. But he did remind me not to exceed 150 gig or they shut it off making you sign up for a new contracted plan.

 

Huh, good to know. I'll have to go do some shopping soon.

But throttled after a certain point...and, well, T-Mobile isn't known for their outstanding coverage area. I think the latest JD Power survey of cell customer satisfaction, they're just ahead of Sp nt (where the c n ou hea me n w guy went) (blanks were intentional to illustrate the legendary Sprint signal quality)
