Sorry, I'm a bit confused. You started here January 2016 (13 months)? I read your post that sounded like you were new to Magnum.

I am newer I guess...meaning like I haven't been here very long. I started out as a trainee. So I consider myself still fairly newer make sense?

Well he is going to leave as soon as his taxes are done as he's said many times before. And from reading this thread for almost a year I can't recall any time that SSB doesn't do his job, I think someone a few pages back said that he goes anywhere that will keep him moving. And he's not making money because of the miles he gets, and yes that might be on him and it's been said before that if you rub some people the wrong way here they don't fire you, they starve you out and I think that's happening to him. Does he "complain" a lot, yes and no he's just giving his side of the story and what he's going through and that is what this website is for. Sorry for the rant but I'm really getting tired of people bashing this guy because of what he has to say, this place isn't for everyone and for him it probably isn't and he's moving on in his time.

Since you are still a newbie, I will excuse your condesending tone...I read a signature line on the forum that fits my feelings about your opinion..."my coffee cup has more miles sliding across the counter for a refill than you do driving". In fact, I think I have underwear with more seat time than you do. So get some experience before forming an opinion like that about anyone. This is your 1st driving job so you don't have any other company to compare it to.

Unlike a newbie, I am doing more in depth research on my next company. A knee jerk reaction and just jumping from one company to another only gets a person in the same situation. I jumped to Magnum simply based on what I read here without talking to drivers out on the road and getting other 'non-forum' drivers opinions. I have had some positive posts, but those who have issues with me posting my good and bad seem to only tune into the bad when griping about my posts. Honestly, if you have issues with my posting...ignore me, it won't hurt my feelings any at all.

Wow. That's pretty ballsy for some greenhorn rookie to come here calling you out. I think he's the one who should shut the f up and keep his opinions to himself.

If you're not awake when you get there you will be after getting your trailer into a dock, and at least there's entertainment while you sit.

Aiight, update time. I picked up my brokered load in Durham and ran like a lot lizard being chased by a flat bed driver. Did over 1200 miles in two days and still had to sit and wait in Deer Park, TX....#truckerlife

Next load has me picking up in Fort Worth @ 1400 and going up to Aurora, CO for a Thursday delivery. Had a few low hour recaps and Matt looked out for me. Just going to suck finding parking in the Denver area once I am empty.

@supersnackbar. Keep complaining and giving out advice. A lot of drivers especially the newbies fail to realize that every company has a good and bad side, some companies have more good then bad. And some companies have more bad than good.

Actually this isn't my first driving job. It's my first over the road job. I was making more money doing what I was doing before I came over here to Magnum. I just enjoy this better. Second of all, I don't think you lack any experience at all or question your driving ability. It's just your always complaining about how bad it is here, so the bottom line is if it's that bad leave. Why stay somewhere you feel miserable at? Is my question. Not your driving ability or experience is not in question. For you to have driven a semi tractor trailer as long as you have that's great! I just don't like someone who is bashing the company I am employeed by.

Made my delivery yesterday and got unloaded in Maxton about 5 hrs early.
Dead headed to our drop yard and left the trailer and bobtailed home.
Not leaving out till next week. Gonna head down to the Outer Banks later this week with the wifey to celebrate our wedding aniversary, her birthday and Valentine's Day all wrapped into one.
I love the beach in the off season. Ok... I love the beach in any season...
    Be safe out there....
