I take that job. Lots of naps for me so when I go home I don't have to sleep. Nothing like getting paid to sleep

Not having fun out here in the west. Decided to avoid WY and got thru Green River UT up to Provo then up...Provo was under a winter storm warning until 4 a.m. today...so a couple of the passes had chain laws. And OR is hit and miss. Yesterday, during the afternoon, all of I84 was "carry chains" only. Overnight Meacham, Ladd, and Cabbage got more (foul word) and had chain laws posted. We shall see what tomorrow brings...
Oh, and my bunk heater is toast. Tries to start, but sounds like a mix between a blender chopping ice and the powdered latté machine in a convenient store. So I have opted to not use it until I return the truck.Crusader66 Thanks this. -
@supersnackbar did you make it over cabbage. It's closed currently Due to a wreck

Sounds like I'm returning this load back to Willmar where it came from. Willmar to Kansas City with 3 drops. 3rd drop didn't get what they ordered (but it's the right product on BOL). #trucking
mattbh23 Thanks this. -
Oregon looks brutal at the moment.

Oh well.... back to work...
Sitting down in Huntersville, NC waiting to get loaded. 2 trucks ahead of me and they are really taking their time.
Headed up to Grand Forks, NDCrusader66 and mattbh23 Thank this. -
Drove from Minot over to Grand Forks to get the reefer fixed. Reefer needed a new alternator and battery. Took 2 hours for that and now I sit waiting at the cold storage place as work in going down to College Park, GA. Was supposed to get to the shop to get my APU looked at, from the looks of it not happening with 1400 miles to go. APU is a secondary worry.
