Made my delivery to Sysco Nashville m. Arrived at 1000 for a 1100 appt. left at 1045. They all where extremely nice people including lumper service. There is street parking.

 

Is that over by the Western Express terminal off the Briley?

I was approaching the Farm & Fleet DC in Janesville, WI this morning, and noticed a lot of TV cameras set up in a parking lot. As I got closer, I looked in the direction the cameras were pointed, and realized they were pointed at Farm & Fleet. I turned the corner and noticed all these little paper signs posted in the grass about 8' apart on both sides of the road saying "No Parking by Order of Police." I thought both these observances rather odd. Then I looked up at the 4-wheeler entrance to F & F, and noticed a lot of law enforcement, and they had a car stopped & were going over it with a K-9 and a mirror underneath. I could only imagine that someone had called in a bomb threat or something to F & F, and fretted over whether this was going to delay my delivery. As I approached the truck entrance, I noticed more law enforcement blocking that entry. My mind was racing trying to figure out what was going on. When they allowed me to, I pulled into the entryway and stopped where directed. A non-uniformed agent approached & asked if my trailer was locked. When I said it wasn't, without asking permission or saying another word, he went to the back of the trailer & opened it. Still bewildered, I was glad when a F & F employee came up to the truck (while the agent was still looking in my trailer) and let me know that VP Mike Pence, Speaker Paul Ryan (Janesville is his hometown) and a cabinet member were due there in a few hours. I would've loved to stay & see them, but F & F must have been under Secret Service orders. I was unloaded in about 10 minutes, and a Millis truck, another Magnum truck & myself were headed out the gate. Pretty cool stuff!

 

They didn't know it at the time but they let a huge national security threat go....idk what to think of those guys Hope you're doing well TxTodd!
