Yep. Getting out of Wally World DC in under 4 hours is always a small miracle.

 

I actually delivered to the WalMart DC in Stuebenville(sp?) Ohio on Monday and was out of there in an hour and 45 minutes....liked to have stroked out. WTH is up with this?

 

Delivered to the W Jefferson Target food warehouse today. Kinda cool how they do things here. You check in at shipping/receiving office. They copy your bills, print out the 'delivery report', hand it all back like you are a drop, assign you a door. When you back in to your door, it's one of those cool warehouses that you don't open your doors, they do it from the inside. Once they get you unloaded, they text you that you are done, and once you get the green light, you just leave. No going back in the office, no lumpers, no muss, no fuss. In and out in 2.5 hours for a whole trailer.

 

that's a great system they have there, to bad it's not like that everywhere......

 

And I wish there were more docks like that too. Doors stay closed, temp stays where it should, and product (and it's tattle tale recorder) stays where it should be until it's time to unload.

 

Made it to Nashville. Waiting on my wife and daughters for dinner. Then they roll out at midnight tonight. Daughter was in heaven. She got to go clothes shopping and they took her to the music store.

 

Has Lewisville Tx gotten any better. If it hasn't I am fixing to call in and refuse my next load. I have been there twice and both times have been screamed at and berated at for absolutely no reason showing up 20 minutes before appt time
