First time you can give the benefit of the doubt that someone was just in a bad position and having a bad day. Second time and you have to start wondering about their operations.

I was a shipping/receiving manager before coming here. We moved to a new to us warehouse that was bigger. Apparently, the company who occupied that warehouse before us had an owner that was a complete dick to truck drivers. All the carriers knew about him. So every time a new driver picked up from us, they asked about that guy. Word has it, only the more senior and thicker-skinned drivers would be dispatched to our building because of this douche. But we slowly got the word out that their company (and that douche) was not there anymore. It was kind of funny, because every time they sent a new driver, he/she would ask about that guy. Or they'd say they were expecting to be yelled at for something. I never met the guy, but when EVERYONE is asking about you from every carrier, you might legitimately be an #######.

 

I was there last month...DONT DO IT. That is the one place I refuse to go to, can't park on the street to check in because the cops will give you a ticket and you can't get into their lot to check in because the line to get in goes out to the street. Then you have to deal with all the bobtails and cars parked in front of doors that makes McLanes in Chicago look like a cake walk.

On a side note I had a DOT inspection today on the side of I81 do we send the form they give you in with the bills?

Made my delivery today. Had a 1200 at Rogers. Showed up at 1030... was pulling out at 11:30
Brought the truck to CR to get the bunk heater fixed. Found out I was tardy for the PM-a and new shocks. They got it in about 1400....
Pick up tomorrow late afternoon in Gaylord headed to Sysco in Lewiston Tx..... then I'll reload going to Concord, NC by next Thursday 0100 and then a few days at home....

 

If it was a clean inspection you get alittle cash for that! As said, transflow it in and call Brice

 

Go one more time and get the guy's name. Then report him to management.

Only trouble I ever had there was the dang bobtails parked out in front of the doors.

 

And you get bonus points for this trimester.

 

He found two things but didn't cite me for it, he found an air leak I have been trying to find for the last week and he said the bolts to my trailer air tank needed to be tightened.

 

What was the name of the place? I will be spending the afternoon there today and may just go get mine renewed.
