I have actually transitioned to mostly polos like Poly use to issue, only with pockets. I have a few of Poly's old button up uniforms w/o the Poly patch, but they're showing their age. Looks a lot more professional than t-shirts and shorts that a lot of drivers wear. At $7 a shirt, they're almost as cheap as a good quality t-shirt, but looks better.

 

I have a few nice button down shirts in the truck that I will throw on over a tshirt to look more presentable... still looks good with shorts on too

 

My T/T looks absolutely beautiful right now. Exterior wash and washout this morning, gonna be adding some sexy-looking red diamonds to my trailer. Everything is wiped down inside. They're gonna think I have a strong case of OCD if they so much as glance in my direction.

 

Booked up thru Wednesday afternoon. Load this afternoon in Grand Forks to Paris TX.
Reload in Tulsa going to Garner NC.

 

Picking up in High Point, NC right now and dropping in Coon Rapids Sunday. Usually the guys in Brooklyn Center let you deliver on Sunday if you call ahead, but Nick says just drop in the yard and don't deliver. Maybe the local guys need some work.

Then picking up Monday AM at Park Rapids, MN for an AM delivery Thursday in Fairborn, GA. Perfect timing to crush it out and work in a 34 that I'll need by that point.

 

I would never dress to nicely - but I tend to prefer polo's and I have multiple pairs of the same kaki jeans...sort of my own uniform.

I somehow always manage to get grease on me so nice clothing is out of the question lol.

 

Just looked at my pick up in Tulsa. Great timing appt is 1830 with a journey concert starting at 1900 across the street.

 

Hey. I resemble that remark. I try to wear my company issued t shirts at least.

 

The only thing that keeps me from buying polos is once you wash it the collar is never the same. I don't care to spend my time ironing.

I'm a t-shirt and shorts kinda guy.
