And if you want to actually watch it, buy a welding helmet. The last time I was in the path of one (I think it was only a partial) I was at the chicken plant fixing chicken cages, before I had my CDL. Was out welding some back together and realized my welding helmet had a dark enough filter to allow me to stare at the sun without harm...was truely freaky to watch.

 

I remember the one in the mid 90's when I was in elementary school and the hype surrounding it.

 

Now you're making me feel old...oh wait, I am old......I think that was the same one I watched with my welding helmet.

 

Haha, elementary school for me too. We had to watch the shadow it made using shoe boxes.
