Keep that kind of mpg up and they'll make you driver of the month...you'll get your own parking spot and everything...

    mattbh23 and Winnyf1 Thank this.

Picked up my load in Greensboro on Wednesday coming off hometime. Made it up to Joliet, IL yesterday afternoon. Staged across the street and went over at 0130 for my 0300 appt. I was parked back across the street at the 0215....
I was going to pick up today in Broadview IL going up to Fridley, MN. Got a call yesterday from Joey, who needed a favor. He was asking if I wanted to go to Utah instead. Uh.... Hell yea!
Another driver needed to get home so we met where I was parked. We swapped trailers this morning. He was taking my empty and doing the Broadview IL load and I took his Utah load. So I deliver Monday AM in Corinne Utah and then deadhead 300 miles up to Nampa ID and grab a load going to Hebron KY.
Those are the kind of 'favors' I like!!

Drove to Grand Island today.... 812 miles over the next 2 days!! Easy weekend!

Today is my 3 year aniversary with Magnum. Still happy, still loving it. Wake up everyday excited with the days adventure ahead. Not a single day have I wished I was still climbing ladders painting houses or banging nails and replacing rotted wood on houses....

Another stop was added to my Concord load. Indian Trail on Wednesday almost 5 days to go 1200 miles.

Indian Trail has overnight parking. Tight docks but no problem for a pro like you

Just go to the left and down the hill near the guard shack and walk up to the guard shack to check in 1 hr before your appt.

That's a typical Gaylord to NC load. Pick up Saturday, deliver Tue. And weds. Sometimes up to 5 stops.... good thing is you will get a reload on Wednesday to keep rolling....

Stop at Spiceland IN on the way down and have a steak at Montgomery's! My favorite spot on the interstate!

Boise Stage Stop used to have a great steak. And anything at Middlesex Dinner by the Carlisle PA J or Chris's Diner by Trexlertown Truckstop.

    ncmickey Thanks this.

Middlesex diner is the bees knees. When I drove for Keen, I lived in that place.
