I got behind one east of Denver that was so large that each side of the trailer had 4 wheels, and 2 pusher trucks and 2 pulling units. If I remember right I think I counted 32 axles on the trailer. It took up the shoulder, the right lane and 1/2 the dotted line. I bet a load that size, fuel mileage wasn't mpg, it was gpm (as in gallons per mile)

 

Sorry guys, ran hard from Jamestown to Newnan ga and was only 15min late...not bad for leaving Jamestown at 1600 Saturday...I was looking at my notes and looking for empties on the north side of trailer shop which (in my pea brained mind) was between trailer shop and warehouse. It then dawned on me to check the lot on the back (east) side of the warehouse. 2 empties were there...grabbed the newer on (1183009) and got loaded a couple of hours early at Jamestown. Glad I bought some new running shoes! I have to laugh cuz I took the trip thinking I could stop by Clarksville and get the rest of my stuff but since my younger brother is about 7" taller and 100lbs heavier than me, having got parked at midnight thought better of calling for a ride. Still having PeopleNet problems but we're checking off what could be problems. Still locks up on loaded or empty msg's and PeopleNet tech says cuz it's loaded as a forced response msg in the system. I don't get a suspend button...so all I can do is reset it and go on. Next load is Albertville to sturtevant. A little more time on it...pu 1500 tomorrow and del 0400 Thur. Yee Haw!
