Anyone able to provide any info on the cigarette adapters / 12v power adapters? Just curious how many amps is on the circuit? Is there one or two?

Thanks, im hoping to snag an adapter with multiple usb outputs.

 

If I remember correctly, there are more 12v plugs than you have stuff to plug into. I think I found 5 or 6 in the sleeper. Most are 10 amp, I ran a seperate inverter with my flatscreen, dvd, and soundbar off of 1... that way, the apu inverter was dedicated to cooking and phone/laptop charging.

 

It's also easy to run powerstrips off of the inverter, I use an extension cord to bridge the two sides of the sleeper and run the microwave and tv off of them.

I never use the hot plate and microwave at the same time, but I can have the tv on when using appliances without issues. The 12v plugs I reserve for usb power to charge my phone and tablet, I have a dual output in each plug.

Snagged that guy for the driver seat to charge a headset and phone amd another other usb devices. Down the road ill snag robust one for the inverter hookup. My trainer says he has usb plugs for me but I wanted something for before getting back home when im on my own.

 

In warmer weather I prefer night driving, truck runs better, less traffic to deal with....only thing I hate is lack of parking. Plus in some states or parts of states there is miles of nothing so the night driving just makes it go faster. I put on some good music or find a good inspirational message and roll. Plus reefer about 80-85% of our appointments are between 00:01-10:00.

 

Well, they’ve been keeping me busy on this regional stuff to keep me close to the house for Thanksgiving (gonna our in the suggestion box that look into Holiday pay) and getting my miles up. I delivered at Kay Chem In Romeoville Thursday, picked up in Kzoo Friday and went over to Barron yesterday and picked up a three stopper going to Sterling, IL, and the Chitown area, then scheduled on switching trailers and running a load down to Columbus and then back home.

Has anyone been to the Cougle Commission in Chitown?

When I was a (younger) kid... like 10 years old... we took a family vacation to Florida in the middle of Michigan winter. It was in the 30s and 40s for the majority of our vacation. We all packed for nice weather, too. Lol
