Just want to say hi.
Any of the accusations against any Magnum recruiting are pure BS. Out of earnest honesty, Tony advised me to give my job a try. It is basically a great driving job. Do have to admit that I keep Magnum on my mind. They don’t have the brightest hammers in the sack running where I’m at.
I did want to mention three great books. Available on audio if you prefer. I couldn’t listen to these and drive. I get too wrapped up in them. They’re all written by the Secret Service Agent who jumped on the back of the Kennedy limousine on that tragic day. Name is Clint Hill. You’ll end up falling in love with Jackie Kennedy. He’ll make you laugh and cry. These books I am devouring. Don’t know if I’m just getting old and like reading more? Or? Only one other book did I read entirely in one day; Seabiscuit by Laura Hillebrant. Also....Kennedy’s funeral was the first big memory of my life. I was the same age as JonJohn. I’ll never forget it.

 

Just delivered to a DOT terminal and they had a mini library of audiobooks in the drivers lounge for their drivers. I already knew they were a solid company but that impressed me.

 

Is it in Maryland? I delivered to a DOT terminal there, but wasn’t aware of a drivers lounge. They did try to recruit me lol

 

That's the place. Nobody ever tries to recruit me.

 

Well to be fair...

When I say "they" I mean the security/check in clerks.

When I say "tried to recruit me" I mean it was something like "hey you've got a blue truck. We've got blue trucks. You should drive for us!"

Nothing serious lol
