That fuel mileage adjusts every trimester it's based on fleet average. That's what I was told in orientation.

Was it 25% match or 50% match on first 4% of contribution? Quite honestly, I've forgotten. -

Not to beat a dead horse... But I just figured out my month. I'm headed home after I get unloaded at 0100 tonight. So this is from Jan 1st till the 24th/25th...
Total miles: 8820
Deadhead 1041
2 layover days ($150 + ghost miles)
5 3/4 hrs of detention ($86.25)
1 drop pay ($30)
So with ghost miles for the 2 layover days I will have over 10,000... Plus I'll be home early on the 25th till Feb.1st
Are you figuring ghost miles on layover days and deadhead miles, SSB? That peoplenet miles # doesn't include those.... -

More random Magnum questions.
I've never had a truck with an APU. Do they cool the sleeper good during the summer?
What kind of policy does Magnum have for personal conveyance? Like I'm sure many of you, I sometimes stock up on supplies while out on the road. Usually Wal Mart, a grocery store, sometimes a planet fitness if their parking is adequate or I'm bobtailing. Speaking of bobtailing, what is their policy on that? As I understand rules of personal conveyance, could I drop the trailer at a truck stop (with permission) and bobtail to a restaurant or store? I have a glad hand lock and kingpin lock.
I did most of my Christmas shopping this past year from the road. Had a day of layover near Richmond and bobtailed to a nearby mall.Last edited: Jan 25, 2016

Yes, apu air works well. personal conveyance is allowed within reason (generally 10 miles+) and bobtailing is fine.
No need for the locks. Somebody steals the trailer, that's their 30 year felony, and if they're in that business, they're probably prepared to cut it off anyway.WalterSobchak Thanks this.
