I'm trying to break my habit of doing that.

 

Met an interesting customer this week. I hauled a load of Humanitarian Relief from TN to the Native Americian Heritage Association in Black Hawk SD. The guy that unloaded me was without a doubt one of the nicest guy's I have ever delivered to, and he had a cool dog. He had a 13 week old black lab puppy as a supervisor. He had a dog bed strapped next to his seat on the forklift, and the dog never moved. In fact, when he went to make copies of the bills, he had to wake the dog up...then he saw me and became my little shadow. I can't remember how many "thank you's" I heard from him. There ARE times like that when I enjoy this job.

Oh, and I had ribs, 'tater salad, cole slaw and a cookie at the Fargo cookout today. Maybe not as good as what @Pigbacon has posted, but still good none the less.

Plus about an hour chat with Matt G about my crappy miles, and 2 gifts. A water bottle (a reusable one, not some empty Aquafina bottle) and a multi-tool from Tony

In Fargo, getting new insurance card, hazmat endorsement temporary permit scanned in, oil change, annual inspection, other updated permits, check engine light getting fixed, turned in all my load paperwork, picked up some load locks.

Ahhh... The joy of feeling administratively fresh again.

Plus, to top it all off I'm headed out west. No complaints here!
