Maverick Transportation To Sell Its Refrigerated Division To KLLM

In the mid 2000s, they bought out Schneider glass hauling. The reefers came about in 2009, iirc. New trailers and aero deflectors on top of the mid roofs.

I haven't seen many of them in quite awhile, I believe the undercutting going on currently has encouraged them to cut their losses.

CRST has a temp controlled division, too, and I haven't seen many of those, either.

Still see SchneiderTC division, WernerTC division, and even some Swift reefers pulled by Swift tractors around Chicagoland.

 

I'd see them on us 61 north and south of DeWitt, IA, they used a truckstop north of us 30 in the southeast part of town, Maverick took them over and rebranded the orange tractors as Maverick, the double drop trailers looked old at that time.
