So, now I have what could be perceived as a dumb question. But you know what they say about questions and being dumb. What's the difference between lumber tarps and steel tarps?

I am really big on the clean up rider on the insurance. If your truck fuel tank gets ruptured or fluids come out it will be cleaned up and you could be billed for it.The towing company ,,,,or who ever they call out.....will hammer you on the charges. The clean up also covers the cost of picking the load up off the ground etc.

Lumber tarps are usually have a 6 feet or 8 feet drop and have a flap at either end. Steel tarps have either a 4 ft or 2 ft drop and have no flap.

Again, you got something confused, that's the entire purpose of bobtail, more correctly known as non trucking liability, for a reason, also Safelite is one of the companies used with mercer under its pop Lucy, my last windshields, Safelite came to my house in Ga and replaced, nothing out of pocket. You need to get a better explanation on non trucking liability from someone there.

I know truck insurance and not confused dude.

I was merely pointing out as handy into for drivers that safelite does truck winshields and will come to you. That was paid by the comprehensive damage portion of my insurance.

So spyder and I have no clue what bobtail/non trucking liability covers? Its specfically for not being under dispatch. Just for info, there are several vendors that will come where you are, safelite is a good one. I also was just pointing out under the mercer policy there is no out of pocket. And MOGLAR, not to argue, but you have something confused on this bobtail insurance thing.
