Has anyone else noticed how many more lives there are on the board recently?
And how many Pre loaded turn into live loads?
More and more Live loads/unloads on the board!

It's called manipulation..just like holding loads back until the day they ship.
Our time means nothing to them..it is what it is.

Pork Chop Express, PoleCrusher, 91B20H8 and 2 others Thank this. -
But the way some of these customers are on these drop and hooks it seems like a live load would be better these days... I've had too many drop and hook here lately that have taken just as long as a live load
Dominick253, PoleCrusher, Home_on_wheels and 3 others Thank this. -
I have some customers that live load in less than 30 minutes. Some d/h take a couple hrs.
If they take too long to load or unload, they make my no haul list. The way I run there is no time for BS in my calendar.tazman74, drvrtech77, Dominick253 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I have a question. I am a newbie but not a kid and trying like he'll to be a professional driver. What amount of experience and what kind of experience would you say is the least I'd need to move into my own truck? I have an immediate need to increase my income and taking the slow company driver route to riches may not be in the cards for me.

What makes you think getting your own truck makes you rich?misterG, Dominick253, roshea and 5 others Thank this.

First of all getting into your own truck means you're starting up a business... If you're looking to just get into this Choice program because you think you're going to get rich you've already failed before you started... While yes many of us make very good money on this program but it does take some work and if you're new to this industry I would recommend you getting more experience in this industry before jumping into owner operator because it's a whole new ballgame... I would recommend you run your company truck like you own it do you get an idea of what how much it cost to operatetazman74 Thanks this.

The rich part was sarcasm. I don't expect to be rich and I don't really care to. I need to increase income levels so I am looking into O/O as a possibility.

Here's a quote from a guy who doing a lease, did 2 actually.
But hey I guess we can help if you still dreaming.
How much experience do you have?
Age? (Insurance reason)
Region? (Freight area)
How much do you have to put a nice down payment on a truck?
How much do you have save for repairs? Typically Atleast 50,000 to start would be nice, not including a down payment to the truck.
What is your business plan?
What is your bottom dollar?
Aka how much do you need to run to break even?
Sni required a year experience or 6 months of you are already with the company.Dominick253 Thanks this.
