I'm sorry to see this :-( My family I have mentioned it to has been very supportive. Have any of these people drove a truck? My dad drove for nearly 20 yrs with one company and drove a lot before that for various companies. When I mentioned to him that I'd been thinking about it, he didn't say his usual, "Oh, good lord." He just said that it is good money and a good way to see the country. He said he would worry about me, but he already does that anyway (his words). My kids support me, though they would also worry about me. My youngest is considering driving with me. My sister and brother in law literally lit up when I mentioned it to them. They told me I would never regret it.

The song is called Thinking Back by Max Surla/Media Rights P -- that's all the info I could find on youtube, but it is a free download under the Create button.

I like them both but I'll listen when I'm stopped for the day. Otherwise, I fear I might just nod off and drive off the road.

I think @scottied67 is on to something. That music seems to have chilled him out. :)

I wore out a early 90's era of Sunscreem O3 album on cassette one year. It's a form of old style techno where groups of 32 beats on the music sheet organizes into a b or c grouping for a given song. It's a mindless form of music when it's bad, enjoyable when done right for doing something that is relatively more mindless some days. I am not particular on music of this that or something else, I take it all. Maybe I tell you about the time I had Beethoven going on a NYC corner versus a boom box with a small group over there and a policeman on my fuel tank refusing to hop off until I had answered his questions in a timely manner. While absorbing trash talking from the passenger side off that corner. HA...

One of my better moments is having a rig with a powerful custom sound installation and I think it was Cash and his take this job and shove it that rattled the windows office of one top executive in the auction house. I imagine they tell stories about that to this day.
