Should have acted all surprised. "Well WTF?! It was there when I left!"

I’d still like to know how they have a right to wake up a driver in the sleeper at a border patrol check point

Here you go. Straight from the leftwing, pro-illegal alien group The American Civil Liberties Union. Read the part about "At Checkpoints".

I would not try it if I was a Cat and the cop was a k-9 officer. I hear they hate cats.

I go through the South Texas checkpoints twice a week. They have a job to do and so do I. Why would I hold myself up for hours to try and prove some point? Just say "Yes Sir" and you're on your way.

I've known a few people that played that card. They gave up any hope of SS/ threw it away to become soverign, among other things.

They were able to get away with some stuff, but it's wasn't because it was a good idea. It was more work for the "man" to follow through on "trivial" matters, it just wasn't worth it. Not that the soverign won the war. They knew how bad the soverign screwed themselves in the long run that it became a non-issue.

They knew the soverign had essientially disarmed themselves, for all intents and purposes. Sure, they may hav a (percieved) edge on the little things, but it isn't worth what they gave up.

The "man" just let's them go because he knows they are just pissing in the wind and are screwing themselves on the long run. No need to persue it when attrition will do the job.

There have been many successful sovereign citizens.. Kane from the KungFu tv show. He walked around everywhere, no borders.
