When you're bobtail all kinds of parking options come up. Why go to the unfriendly place where you have to ask permission? I've parked bobtail in grocery lots, fast food lots, mall lots, casinos you name it. It is such a rare thing for these places to see big trucks, they have no idea someone is sleeping inside and they have no idea that they have the power to ask you to leave. Just go where you want to sleep, lie down and a few hours later move the truck 100 yards to the other end, no one is the wiser.

They have full time 24/7 security there now. You can't even go in to shop. They kick you out immediately

Lol...Ya, no kidding. Loves and Pilot also have security now too. No more campers, cars or anything else. Only trucks. I'm up there all the time. I make it a point to deliver first thing in the morning then dead head out to Jamestown, ND

Mt pleasant, ia has something like no truck parking between 6am-8pm idk I forgot. Of course nobody follow it. They just build a pilot across the street from Wal-Mart. I wonder if everybody move over now

As per my previous thread about almost getting ticketed and towed at WM.

There is more then one manager on duty. Also the next shift managers may be anti truck.

It may not be up to Walmart; due to all the anti-walmart sentiment, it took them years to get the approval to put in a store near my parents' retirement community. One of the many concessions Walmart had to grant was no overnight parking of any kind. People still try, but you know who calls the tow trucks? Not the store managers, it's the neighborhood busybodies...

They recently passed a law stating no truck parking at all a few months back. That was my go to supply in the area. I switched to Beatrice Nebraska once the signs went up.

My business wasn't welcome so I took it elsewhere. No biggie.

If a sign says no trucks at Walmart I always go in and seek out the manager. It's usually around 2am that I pull in. I tell them I'm just here to shop and that's it. They always say OK. One place apologized and said they did not own the land and that it was leased and it was the property manager who sets the rules.

On the way back to my truck I met the security guy. I told him I was leaving. He said go ahead and shop. I bought him an orange juice and Reece's Cup. I realized later that was a bad combination. He said next time just wait in my truck for him or another security to show up and tell them I'm just shopping.

I have a Truck Garmin GPS in my truck. Whenever I stop at a Walmart that is truck friendly I save it in my favorites. If I'm driving down the road and pass a Walmart I always look for trucks. If I see a bunch I mark that one also.
