Those are all great things, but you don’t get to choose who backs into the spot next to you. A loud reefer or a POS truck that has the air dryer popping off every 3 minutes. That’s why I suggested investing in a good pair of earplugs or noise canceling headphones.

Omg have you heard the 2018+ Vector units?

It's about like a small residential window AC unit.... Crazy quiet .. seriously

Isn't the vector unit diesel electric hybrid? As in, can be plugged in at a yard.

It's easy to eliminate the noisy reefer problem. Just quit eating. Everything.

I don't think ours are really that noisy but then again I'm not a light sleeper.

Anyway I'll give you some tissues so you can cry yourself to sleep.

    ####!
Yeah carrier units are known to be heard before you even pull into the parking lot.
They vibrate the lot from across the parking but, not the truck that’s pulling it ahah.

I’m use to my reefer train. Sometimes I’ll wake up and think my reefer Shut off. Have to peep and check the T on the mirror ahah

I've never heard a reefer when I was trying to sleep. All I hear is glorious white noise.

It's the folks with their radios or TV's turned way up so you can hear then 4 trucks away that keep me awake.

The always-idling trucks with the random death rattle wheeze snort can also keep me awake because the noises are too random and abrupt.

    KB3MMX and PE_Trans Thank this.
