    Yeah , pretty much :biggrin_2559:

    There are no words in the English language to express
    how bad the equipment is at Poly.

    Yet people keep applying
    ...go figure

    o_O

    I say its the giant poster at many of the local truck
    stops overshadowing every other companies recruiting attempts
    advertising .50 CPM hub miles that pulls us in.

    Greed i tell ya! ....its our own greed that sucks us into
    the Poly vortex.

    ...and like Lord John ( the drug kingpin said)

    Greed is the one snake that can't be charmed :evil2:

    Frank , (may i ask) why are you interested in Poly
    I was under the impression you worked
    at the Davis place in Florida (?)

    Davis is great from what i hear , you just gotta be able
    to handle the night shift from what the recruiter told me
    on the phone.

    Yup, I've been sitting in a Phoenix hotel now, for a week, and International still can't figure out how to fix my A/C. In all fairness, Petro in Effingham "fixed" it twice last week.

    I don't understand how it can be so hard to fix an A/C, but it's an International.

    I don't think he was whining, he did have a "laughing out loud" emoticon in his text.

    I can't speak for him, but I still stay with Poly because it's the only co. I know of that doesn't constantly "F" with you... except by buying Internationals.

    Paper logs, no phone calls from them, you want time off, you just take it .50/mile It's what driving a truck used to be.

    You must have a Maxxforce. When my 1st truck had the a/c quit(Cummins powered)..in Kingman, AZ...in July with the temps in the low 110's, all that management would say is T.S. (as in tough shine-ola) we don't fix a/c's on the road. Get it back to GP and we'll fix it...and that was the 3rd complete system replacement that went out on me on that truck. I was tempted to check into a hospital for a few days for heat stroke and file a mega workers comp claim to f them over like they f'd me, but I didn't.

    I've been out in Henderson and Poly put me up in a motel because my A/C was INOP.
    ( or so i thought) Woke up the next morning to take it to the shop and it worked fine.
    The temp at the time i called in was 118. As it turned out the system simply can't handle it when it gets that hot. Not sure about the other brands of tractors and their ability to cool
    at those extreme temps
